Engine 21

Engine 21 is a 1994 E-One Class A Pumper. It is on a Sentry chassis and operates a HALE 1250gpm pump. Engine 21 carries 750 gallons of water and 50 gallons of class B Foam. It is equipped with a 24' extension ladder, 10' Pencil ladder, a hydrant assist valve, a variety of hand tools for forcible entry and overhaul, a compliment of fire extinguishers, gas metering devises, and BLS medical supplies. Engine 21 is the only piece of apparatus in our fleet with a front suction, and electric high flow deck gun that can be operated by one of several locations on the truck. Engine 21's assignment is a 2nd due pumper to fire calls, and back up for our front line piece, Engine 24.

Engine 22

Engine 22 operates on a 2005 Crimson body with a Spartan chassis. Engine 22 is a rescue pumper for the town and responds to all MVA's. It has a HALE 1500gpm pump, 780 gallons of water, and 30 gallons of class B foam. In addition to the equipment that Engine 21 carries, Engine 22 has a full compliment of vehicle extrication equipment and confined space equipment. It operates Hurst hydraulic tools including industrial spreaders also known as the "JAWS of Life", hydraulic cutters, a combination cutter/spreader tool also known as the combi-tool located in the front bumper with a WARN electric winch, and hydraulic rams. A generator powers an electric pump to run the tools which are attached to individual 100' hose reels. The generator also powers a variety of lights including a 6 head halogen light tower mounted on the roof. For firefighting there are 2 reels each containing 200' of preconnected 1 3/4" hose line with combination nozzles capable of flowing over 150gpm of water. Engine 22 is a third due fire pump for a structural firefighting assignment and also carries Rapid Intervention Team supplies to rescue a trapped firefighter.

Engine 24

 Engine 24 is the departments front line attack pump first due at structure fire, medical emergencies, and mutual aid to surrounding communities. Engine 24 operates on a 2003 E-One Typhoon Chassis with a 1500GPM HALE pump, 750 gallons of water, and 30 gallons of class B foam operated using an internal 1000gpm Williams Foam Unit. Engine 24 is certified class 5 ambulance through Region 5 OEMS allowing us to carry full ALS supplies similar to the Rescues without transporting capabilities. Engine 24 carries a variety of hand tools for forcible entry, and overhaul operations. A hydraulic driven electric generator runs lights and 2 100' electric reels to supply 110/220V tools. It also has a Rapid Intervention Team bag identical to Engine 22's. Engine 24 also features a Bullard T3 thermal imaging camera, cutter's edge vent saw, a HURST combi-tool with portable gas pump, Blitz-Fire portable quick attack master stream, and several pre-connect hose lines. There is 1500' of 4" supply line and a hydrant assist valve. The shift commander with two firefighters operate out of this truck and co-responds with Ladder 26 and the Rescues.

Ladder 26

 Ladder 26 operates with a 1994 E-One 110' rear mount aerial ladder on a Hurricane chassis. Ladder 26 is 2nd due behind Engine 24 to all fire calls. It carries several ground ladders including a 35' and a 24' extension ladder, hand tools including pike poles, rakes and forcible entry tools. Ladder 26 also has high angle and other rope rescue equipment. The ladder is equipped with a K-12 and a Cutter's Edge saw for ventilation, many tarps for salvage operations, and spare SCBA cylinders. Ladder 26 is regularly staffed with 2 firefighters on duty.

Squad 1

Squad 1 is a 2009 Fire One body built on a Ford F-550 extended cab chassis.  Squad 1 carries 300 gallons of water, 15 gallons of foam, and has a 250gpm pump.  The pump is powered by a separate diesel motor that allows for "pump and roll" ability.  Squad 1 will serve as a brush truck for the town, and it is also designed to patrol Gillette Stadium during stadium events with one Captain and one Firefighter.  Some of the equipment it carries is forcible entry tools, portable generator, elevator rescue tools, S.C.B.A.'s, and various fire hoses with fittings and adaptors.  We will be expecting an identical truck sometime in December 2009 to replace Squad 2. 

Squad 2

Squad 2 is a 2010 Ford F-550 with a Fire-One body.  Squad 2 carries 300 gallons of water, 15 gallons of foam, has a 250gpm pump, 300' of forestry hose, and 1 3/4" attack lines.  Squad 2 is identical to Squad 1 and operates at sold out events at Gillette Stadium with one Captain and one Firefighter.  This truck also serves as a brush truck for the town.

Squad 3

Squad 3 is a 2010 International/E-One.  Squad 3 is primarily a brush truck featuring a 750 gallon water tank and a 500gpm rear mounted PTO Pump.  The truck has 2 reels with 800' of forestry hose, a flotation pump, and 1 3/4" attack lines.  With 4X4 capabilities and a heavy duty winch Squad 3 is well suited for off road capabilities.

Rescue 1

Rescue 1 is a 2004 International with a Road Rescue ambulance body.  Rescue 1 is currently serving as a third back-up rescue in the event Rescue 2 or 3 is out of service for repairs.  When Rescue 1 is in place of Rescue 2 or 3 it is staffed at the Advance Life Support level.

Rescue 2

Rescue 2 is a 2006 GMC 4500 with a Braun ambulance body. It is equipped with Advanced Life Support including the Lifepack 15 cardiac monitor, Zoll Auto Pulse, Ambu-Pro EMS software, as well as basic life support supplies. Rescue 2 also serves as a light rescue with Scott 4.5 SCBA's, and forcible entry tools. This is our second due rescue which is staffed by the crew from Ladder 26.

Rescue 3

Rescue 3 is a 2010 International 4400 with a Horton 623 body.  Rescue 3 is the first due rescue equipped similar to Rescue 2 with some additional equipment.  Rescue 3 has more advance emergency airway devices for patients with respiratory compromise, and a electric/hydraulic stretcher.  The stretcher is capable of lifting 700lbs and is powered by an 18v Dewalt cordless drill battery.  This additional equipment will help the fire department better serve our community and prevent firefighter injuries. 

 Car 3

Car 3 is a 2005 Ford F-350 pick-up truck. Car 3 is a general purpose utility truck for the on duty crew that can carry special requested equipment in custom designed "PODS" for a faster deployment. It is equipped with BLS medical supplies, an 8' Fisher Minute Mount 2 snow plow, and a trailer hitch for the rescue boat.

Car 4

Car 4 is a 2000 Ford Expedition used as the Shift Commanders vechile.  Car 4 is the former chiefs car and has mutual aid radios, portable radios, BLS medical supplies, a trailer hitch for the rescue boat, and a firefighter accountability system.
