New Squad 1

Foxborough Fire & Rescue has taken delivery of the new Squad 1. It replaced the former 1996 department built F-350 which is temporally being reassigned to Squad 2 until delivery is taken of an identical truck as the new Squad 1, which is expected in December 2009. Open House

Foxborough Fire & Rescue hosted its annual open house on Saturday, November 7th. We had a great turn out and a good time had by all. The public was able to enjoy free pizza and soda, watch several demonstrations such as firefighter emergency bail-out procedures, rope rescue, extinguishing a real fire with a fire extinguisher, and an auto extrication where the "Jaws of Life" were put to work.
